BBC Two 2015 with 90s idents

Back on topic, here is the Springwatch trail.



They seem to be alternating between the 1991 '2' and the 2007 '2' - an evident lack of consistency.

Didn't even realise that was an issue - what sort of things can't they show on BBC2 HD?

Party election broadcasts, because they're regionalised.

The Party Election Broadcasts, because they are different for each region. However, since there are no regional HD variants and the Network is essentially BBC Two England, it wouldn't make sense showing England's version of the broadcast.

It also Doesn;t help that different parties were shown on different days in each of the four nations.

A second Springwatch promo shown last night, before Horizon, featuring a caterpillar '2' on a felled tree trunk.

Personally, I feel the Caterpillar promo is better than the first Springwatch promo.

However, that isn't to say both aren't good.

Marvellous to see BBC Two getting some of its quirky character back. These Springwatch trails are definitely a step in the right direction. Great job!

I agree it makes a cute little character.

Not sure about everywhere else, but BBC 2 Northern Ireland showed the Centenary ident (the one in this video), but with the Powder soundtrack, before Alpha Papa
