Promo reel replaced with a full screen countdown now.

A very low key launch promo and then bang onto simulcast of Emmerdale. Hello IT...UTV Ireland.

So a short film telling us a lot can happen in a year, welcome to UTV Ireland. Then the first ident and straight into Emmerdale. Not much of a glance at the presentation but sure the first commercial break won't be long off.

The channel is still FTA in the UK on Sky right now, the ad breaks are bookended with promos and break bumpers, Emmerdale is sponsorless.

Just had the first IVC link, very nervy...

More interesting were the commercials in the end break - noticeable lack of key brands - agree with you about the IVC as well

Any adverts yet for UTV-owned radio stations in the Republic? Are they still being inflicted on Nordie UTV viewers?

No all mainly direct response ones - no promos in the end break either

Does anyone have any caps of the launch or continuity? Doesn't seem to be anything on YouTube yet.

If you don't mind a camera being pointed at the TV, I'll be happy to get a clip or 2 later on tonight.

Overall, presentation wise there isn't anything 'wow' about it. Literally UTV style but with more green. The scenic promos are fairly nice though.
