Scottish Referendum news thread

Some reports around that counts in the Highlands and Islands might be delayed if helicopters are involved fog being the problem.

From what I gathered earlier, the delays resulting from fog could push back the relevant declarations to perhaps 5-6am. So hopefully not delaying the overall result, estimated for breakfast time.

BBC News at Ten opening from Glasgow, with a proper wide shot, minus the silly long visual hold on the titles. Much better.

STV News seem to be utilising ITV News reporters for their own broadcast. Robert Moore in Washington and Martin Geissler going around Scotland (good to see Martin back on STV!)

STV's Claire Stewart is at the national count centre with an interview area, which I'm sure we'll see more on ITV after 10.40.

All handled very well IMHO. Would love to see STV provide it's own Scottish, UK and international news bulletin utilising ITV News copy.

If only the STV/ITN partnership went ahead eh?
