Huw called Andrew Marr, Andy...

Why does bbc1 scotland/bbc parliament have a Yes/No result bar but BBC News doesn't?

BBC Scotland set is very nice - clearly a supersized version of the news set but it works well. The network one will do the job but doesn't feel as grand as I thought it might.

Not impressed by STV so far - think ITV have made a huge mistake not running their own broadcast, not just down to STV names not being familar with the ITV audience but also I think a night like tonight needs somebody like Alastair Stewart who has the gravitas but is also quite relaxed and easy to watch. There is going to be a lot of padding over the next couple of hours especially and that takes some skill.

Give it a chance and you'll soon realise that Bernard Ponsonby is by far the best Politcal Editor in Scotland by a country mile.

CNN seems to be rolling with this . . . special title sequence as you might expect; Christiane Amanpour started off at 10pm and now Hala Gorani has taken over live from Edinburgh.

Stv coverage doesn't sit well with me, bbc's coverage is far more superior. Although, I see no need for 2 BBC programmes imo. And part of the stv set looks like a lift door Wink

I agree, the TV debates proves this.

STV's lower thirds really aren't very nice. The clock is colliding horribly with the text on the ticker, and the 'cross in a box' logo on the left of the screen looks like it was knocked up in Paint.

Both BBC programmes looking very nice.

Anyone capture the BBC Titles? Switched over late.

Yes, here you go. Smile

The full BBC One opening (as seen by viewers on BBC One in England/Wales & NI - plus the BBC News Channel).
