Yes - my understanding is that there will be two BBC programmes, one for Scotland and one for the Rest of the UK. Totally different stories either side of the border, so that makes perfect sense.

What about BBC World News?

If they take a specific show I'd imagine it would be the Rest of the UK one?

Probably, but considering the international significance of this story, I'm wondering if BBC World News could end up producing its own wall-to-wall coverage of the referendum with more emphasis on how the result could affect, say, the upcoming independence referendum in Catalonia.

Just to point out Scotland 2014 will be on at 10pm from next Monday, BUT newsnight will stay at 11pm, with network content moving to 10.30pm.

What is the logic of that? Scotland 2014 will be up against the news on BBC 1.

Are they trying to get ahead off Scotland Tonight on STV?

No, they moved it to 10pm because Scotland Tonight was winning the 10:30pm slot.

STV Player has gone to pot for me again, so I've had to requisition the spare Sky box once more.

Zattoo or TVCatchup is an alternative if you want to watch it online, however the STV Player is working fine for me...
