Another of those BBC News camera cock-ups has appeared as an entertainment article on Digital Spy.

Amusing perhaps, if it didn't happen with such regularity. Rolling Eyes

Notice these problems seem to occur mostly at 12:00pm or 12:00am. Could it be that some sets the template up with the wrong PM and AM clock setting?

I know nothing about the operations of Mosart mind you, so this is just a guess.

It's apparently been featured on Channel 7 Australia's breakfast show Sunrise as well.

Name tag for Nicola Adams has just shown on the report as a picture tag rather than the original aston meant to be used.

This week's BBC Click programme featured a piece on the camera technology used at the Commonwealth Games.

In the package, they showed what looked like a fisheye view of the BBC News channel studio and Studio E gallery.

Here's the link to the episode: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04c2tjq/click-02082014 (The shots are 5:40 onwards).

I remember they had snoop cameras at TVC, but don't recall them having a fish-eye style view?

A fisheye lens is probably a lot more useful in a circular set than a rectangular one if you're wanting to see the whole set.

At the end of the World War I Remembered programme, which was shown on [The] BBC News [Channel] and BBC Two, [The] BBC News [Channel] left the feed on air too long and we got to hear the BBC Two CA speaking and a see a menu slide promoting bbc.co.uk, BBC Radio 3 and BBC iPlayer (all with relevant World War I programming). They actually made matters worse by fading out first the menu and then the audio while the CA was still speaking. It's easy to say in hindsight but once they started taking the menu, albeit by mistake, they should have stuck with it. Isn't it a bit odd that they were using a feed from BBC Two and not a clean feed anyway?

Whoever scripted the TOTH seemed to have forgotten that it's single headed. Joanna Gosling introduced herself twice.

Seems to happen a lot - Especially at 11am.

Have the papers had one of the guests in a location other than the studio before? One of the reviewers this evening is down the line in Edinburgh - first time I have seen such an occurrence

Not to my knowledge anyway, I rarely watch the box at the time of night anyway...
