Eh? That's not possible, simulcast uses the same gallery who control the cues on both channels.
Oh I see. Well then, I think that the BBC broadcasts the national bulletins to BBC One and BBC News takes it from BBC One, cause It doesn't look like they are broadcasting the bulletin to the two channels at exactly the same time. Could me or the iPlayer though.
As far as I'm aware the gallery produces one feed for the news channel (with the ticker etc) and another for BBC One without the ticker. (It could produce more, but I'm not sure)
I feel like that the BBC National bulletins are broadcast to BBC One and simulcast to BBC News, cause this 10 o'clock news was smooth on BBC One with the thunderclap at the start where on BBC News it went a bit dodgy. And on BBC One the zoom in on the presenter started from a much further distance then the BBC News one did.
