Something which I have not seen done before is Sky reading out and showing on screen tributes from the personal facebook page of the young man Stephen Ashton who was killed in Thailand. They named some of those who left tributes on his personal page and are showing pictures from his profile. I think this is very un-appropriate.
Niall Patterson doing a stellar job over in Washington on 'The Fiscal Cliff.' He has said on twitter that he has a new role shortly to be announced. Id like to see him become a Foreign Correspondent. That department could do with strengthening with only Tim Marshall and Lisa Holland there at the moment.
I was also quite impressed by him. Maybe he will replace Greg Milam.
( WHY IS THIS POSTED HERE AND NOT IN THE PRESENTERS AND ROTA THREAD?)

Because he is a correspondent (not presenter) and my post involved presentation. Now sod off.

WELL, I was warned for a post which implied that Adam Boulton is presenting Boulton&Co from Sky News Centre and not from Westminster. I can see more "Presentation" in my post than in yours. PLUS I have never used coarse language.
STRANGE ISNīT IT?

I just find it ironic that the person that has almost single handedly ruined this thread feels the need to take the moral high ground in policing this thread. I remember the days when this was a diverse thread with the input of many many members but that is not the case with much of the drivel it contains nowadays. Thank You and Goodbye.
Does anyone else think that the Sportsline sting should replace the standard Sky News sting just for Sunrise? It's a lot softer and calmer than the current theme, which would go well with the soft set and purpose of Sunrise, a "softer" way of delivering news.
