Is CNNI an inernational news channel appealing to a global audience, or is it a channel for a US audience to watch when they are abroad?
It used to feel a bit like it was the former, it now very much feels like the latter. Maybe that's where they are trying to position it?
I agree that it has changed significantly - and feels a much more US-centric channel.
But then in previous years it was always a bit of an anomaly - a good quality American-run news channel...
Interesting that a lot of decent anchors jumped ship to Al Jazeera English - which is fulfilling a similar role to the one CNNI used to?
