Look North and Calendar

The headline vamp that Look North used today is the 'proper' regional headline vamp, which AFAIK, should have been used by every region. The other one with the string, at least on NWT, is used for the still to come bit. We have the ordinary one (sounds like national one) to open every bulletin. It is slightly different to the national one. UK Today used it up until a few months ago, until they swopped for a mixture of both vamps, with the prominant normal one and the string of the other one. I hope I've not confused you!!

Yes, Nigel Jay is famous for his clunks with that opt button!! You'll hear it when Asa puts up a few clips I've captured on TV Home.

Prior to the Sea Trek programme at 10.35pm, we had a BBC One North ident
After this into Deadly Justice at 11.05pm, we had another ident, no trailers, and Ian White was the announcer this time.
I'm recording all junctions until 3am!

Also, at the end of Look North today, they finished with 'some pictures of Hull's big day', with a BBC BBC North MMI caption.
3 seconds in, we heard Huw Edwards say 'Welcome Back.....', so we'd obviously missed the 6 sting!, Huw then appeared in vision but the BBC BBC North MMI caption stayed on, over Huw for about 5 seconds!

Those Tall Ships look really good, I wish I'd gone today. Is there any truth in the rumour they were barred from entering Boston Docks?

Apparently they are sending a special friggate up to Boston Docks, with Christa Ackroyd at the helm !

The stuff on Wellbeing is on tape. Live shows ended 3 weeks ago so I am working over the road at Calendar - and very nice it is too.
