Sorry if this has been mentioned - when asked on Twitter when Liam Dutton would appear on screen at Channel 4, his reply was "About a week and a half" (w/b 12 December).
New forecaster on BBC World today. Missed her intro twice, so don't know her name. All I can say is that she has long blond hair and reminds me a bit of Brittney from Glee. (visually, that is.)

Could have been Sara Thornton?? She covered the weather yesterday when the Met Office were on strike, doing the forecast on the 6.
I'll flick over to World News now. EDIT: Susan Powell on now.
I don't understand why you have to do the weird scroll. Can't they just put the full map on the page and allow you to scroll like you would on any normal website.
Is it normal for BBC Weather forecasts on Christmas Eve to omit the usual opening BBC Weather slide which includes the name of the person presenting the forecast? I've noticed this morning that it has been omitted on both Breakfast and now the BBC1 lunchtime forecast.
Just as I posted this the forecast was cut short by probably 2/3 seconds.

Think it's normal for Breakfast, but not on anything else - probably Sarah Keith-Lucas trying something different.
As for forecast being cut short - either Sarah didn't realise she was out of time, or there was a mistake by pres.
