Channel 5

Channel 5's new logo is now exactly the same as that for BBC Radio Five Live!!

Apart from the colour and the overall look of the number, I would say it isn't.

Vastly similar, but slightly different character used.

I'm still not liking the new dog. Like I said previously, there's no emphasis on the circle, where as previous the 'FIVE' font was unique enough to sell it, in the new instance, it's about the circle being used with the simple character, by having the circle with '5' cut out emphasised the logo, where the new one emphasises the 5 more which I suppose is what they want. If the circle had a White outline, it may work on both aspects, but atm I just find it strange.

I don't like any DOGs. I've yet to hear a convincing argument to justify their existence.

You are stupid; you need reminding which channel you are watching at every opportunity.

Maybe channels should realise that I watch programmes , not channels - I'm not really bothered which channel shows the programmes I want to see as long as I can see them. Mind you, the Sky logo always reminds me that I am paying for the privilege of watching the programme (as do the adverts every five minutes and the sponsorship announcements all the way through!)

I know No. 10 has a Cat, but has it turned into that much of a trend that Channel 5 have got a dog?

Just out of interest, did the Big Brother announcement even happen this week?
