Confirmation of that at the end of the press release about the launch of 'Boulton and Co' on January 17th.

Sophy will mostly be seen on Sunrise.

Sarah Hughes confirming Dermot will present Mon, Tues, Weds mornings and Colin will present Thurs, Fri and Sat mornings. Wonder what will happen with the morning Live Desk?

I think there is a lot to be said for expanding Sunrise by an hour considering it is the most successful of the 'new' formats. Obviously Eamonn often has other daytime TV commitments but I think it would be good for Charlotte to get to present the last hour by herself, a sort of 'Sunrise Late Edition'.

As popular as Sunrise is, it wouldn't work past 9am on a weekday. It works at the weekend because people tend to get up later. The needs of the audience are different in the week and 10am would be far too late for a breakfast show to finish.

Sunrise finished at 10 during the election.

Surely Sarah Hughes could present the morning Live Desk, since Boulton and Co just replaces the afternoon Live Desk, which was presented by the same presenter as the morning edition. So she'd just be doing a normal Live Desk shift if she presented the one-edition Live Desk and Boulton & Co news summaries.

Lets wait and see what Sarah's role in Boulton and Co actually is. On the Programme Information Amendments, she is actually credited in the information "presented by Adam Boulton and Sarah Hughes". The usual summary presenters, for example Charlotte Hawkins, aren't mentioned in the same way so I wonder whether her role could be a bit bigger?

Well judging by the Programme Information site, which has been updated today, The Live Desk will continue to air between 9 and 10AM.

I guess Colin Brazier's role on Saturday will be to present Saturday Live?

It should be, its needs a permanent presenter. As long as he doesn't end up with the news summaries job, that would be rediculus!
