Sarah Hughes tweeted that Colin will do Thu-Sat mornings, with Dermot doing Sun-Wed. So I think its safe to say Colin will be the main presenter Thu-Sat mornings and not doing news summaries. Guess one or two days a weeks he will be cover for other shows as well (Colin is one of the few presenters who currently does a 5 day week)

On Boutlon&Co I take it Sarah Hughes will deal with all the non-political news? She doesn't have any political experience does she?

Colin presenting Saturday Live today, presumably this is the start of the new morning schedules, ahead of Murnaghan tomorrow.

Yeah nice to see him getting involved in Saturday Sport with Nick like Chris used to. However Saturday Live will never be the same without Chris Roberts.

I really enjoyed Colin this morning but don't understand why they stand guests with him on the island, looks really awkward... also can't help feel the lighting on both the island and in the shoebox seemd too dark for a morning programme.

He follows in the footsteps of Chris Roberts who joined as a relief presenter/reporter.

Great to see him back. He is one of the most distinguished Defence Correspondents out there and has covered nearly every war imaginable. I believe he moved from TV-AM to Sky in 1989, however I'm open to correction. I cant understand why Sky didn't let someone like Glen Oglaza or Rachael Younger go instead of Geoff.

Good use or Charlotte and Gillian there. Gillian in particular deserves a proper bulletin of her own, even if it is just once a week

So will Gillian also present headlines on Friday Sunrises?

I'd guess so. She usually does at the moment, I believe.

Great use of both Charlotte and Gillian here and it makes sense to be honest the sunrise headlines presenter stays on until 11 to read the headlines on the first hour of Sky News Today so there already there anyway.

As Excel99 says Gillian does deserve a proper bulletin of her own despite it only being only once a weak but it’s progress I suppose. This may open up opportunities for both covering Colin’s old relief work?. I Know Colin used to work five days a week but the days he’s presenting Sky News Today he won’t be able to cover plus he’ll probably have one of the other days off because he’s working on a Saturday.

But under the new schedule, Colin only works Thursday-Saturday. Plus I am inclined to believe that Anna Jones has become Sky's main relief presenter, I can't even remember the last time she presented a business bulletin. Not that that's a bad thing.
