Anyone else getting a little bit bored of this now? It needs needs a twist, a double eviction maybe.

Glad Kay isn't involved with the Sky coverage but I would have preferred Jeremy, Dermot or Anna Botting to be presenting from Chile rather than Andrew Wilson. Wilson is not bad by any means but I think one of the 'bigger names' would have been better.

Except for viewers in Scotland, they seem to be getting coverage from 23:55.

It seems that Wales joined 10 minutes before network too.

This is going to go on for hours and hours. I can't imagine big ratings for this. Robin must be taking over from Andrew early in the morning?

Two minutes in to the live coverage now on BBC One, and it's already got me feeling nostalgic for Broken News - or Mitchell And Webb's royal reporter. The stilting delivery from Tim is really grating as he desperately fills, and we already know nothing unexpected or interesting is going to be available for immediate broadcast.

Now it's Rajesh Murchandani (sp?) doing audio description duty. For the love of god, let's go back to the studio and do some actual news!
