What? No it's not.
Yea, well I think it is!
I can't believe that GMTV is ending,
that is so sad!

Say if Daybreak opts not to use a newsreader during the main show Adrian + Christine could read the headlines and if loraines show still needs a news update either Dan could do it or they could use the presenter of the morning news/ London today.
Also is daybreak retaining the majority of GMTVs reporters or is it building a new team.

Is it the first week of September you're back at school? Just wondering.
If Adrian and Christine can do the news themselves, why couldn't Lorraine? Are there even likely to be news updates during 'Lorraine'?
And that theory relies on Dan still being there as a studio-based sports presenter. With regard to London Today/ Morning News, surely this would be too complicated as one team would then be producing the 5.30 bulletin, London Today's short morning bulletins and Daybreak's news - would one team be able/ willing to manage all that? Would ITN not just put a separate team in for Daybreak updates/ London Today?

Clare has done 10 years at GMTV and maybe giving birth to her the baby she thought she would never have has made her reflect on her future. This will give her more free time.
Clare will be sorely missed.

I'm pretty sure that the London regional bulletins have their own production team anyway.
It's not known what involvement ITN will have in Daybreak - whether they'll be producing self-contained bulletins into the programme (think the Big Breakfast) or just providing news content to them. But I'd have thought that either way the operation will just follow on from the Morning News, albeit with extra shifts to cover the extra work (i.e. people transferred from the current GMTV news operation)

Comfirmed for ITV1 or both ITV1 and ITV Breakfast Ltd licenses?
