Presumably because Adrian wanted Christine sat next to him, the Deputy Editor of Daybreak is a former Senior Producer at The One Show and Peter Fincham was instrumental in creating The One Show at the BBC he wants to replicate a winning presenting team...

The only person who could have prevented Christine being sat next to Adrian on the Daybreak sofa is Christine I suspect.

Very good news! Unexpected too. She'll make a great replacement for Clare. However I expected a male weather presenter, like Tomasz Schafernaker, to weigh the team up - at the moment we have Adrian, Christine, Kirsty, Lucy and Helen presuming she will remain as the main newscaster.

I think that Helen will get another position - possibly Political Editor with Sue Jameson becoming Business Editor.
