The 6 Delayed for.................wait for it!

Why are BBC 1 AND BBC 2 showing Wimbledon? I know the 6 has been delayed, but surely more people are interested in the Tim v Roger match. Can't BBC2 carry it?

They are not. There is a different match on BBC2

BBC News Front Page has the Audio and Video link as per normal.

The 6 O' Clock News is expected at 1830, so will BBC News (including Nations and Regions) continue until 1930?

It is billed as 6pm on the bbc.co.uk, and in Radio Times. Anyway, it's on now, but George opened with AT 6 O CLOCK.........when in fact it was 18.09.

At least he's out now, I can't stand Henmania.

So the Six starts about 9 minutes late but George is unable to ad-lib the time at the start, so say's it's 6 o'clock anyway

When I clicked on the "Watch the 6 O'Clock News" the AV player opened and showed a caption saying something along the lines of "The 6 O'Clock News is expected at 1830, due to extended coverage..."

In fairness it's not George's fault, it's the puppeteer's. I swear he used to be a respected jounalist

Well at least they didn't move the Six to BBC Two... Then there would have been all the complaints from digital viewers in England who'd get BBC London - plus all the sub-opts that would have to be cancelled because they can't even opt-out on BBC Two analogue...

My region, BBC Look East announced "coming up in the next 30 minutes" I don't think anyone told them that its only 20 minutes this evening. (Sky's EPG is updated with a twenty minute regional programme tonight)

Surly that would be on PresTalk?

And if there was a thought of any doubt, a spoken anouncement from NC1?
