The previous match was a walkover so Henman was brought about an hour forward. If this hadn't have happened I expect his entire game would have been on BBC2. The only reason why he stayed on BBC1 was because there was only a few minutes left in the match
Actually if there was any chance of Henman coming on court between 6:00pm and 6:30pm I think that the news would have been bumped over to BBC 2 as Henman is almost always guaranteed a BBC1 slot.
BBC Wimbledon coverage is oversaturated, overrated and over-necessary. Tennis is the dullest of all the sports, and with Federer and Williams dominating the game it's become even worse. If ever there was a case for a dedicated BBC Sport channel it's this. Shove it away with the cycling and the badminton and let's get on with life; those who want to watch it can go out and spend 30 quid on a freeview box.

I'm sure in a news bulletin on the BBC this evening, they said that Henman's game had actually been brought forward in the day. I don't know by how far, but if it hadn't would the 6 o Clock news actually ended up being at 7.
