I think I may firm up upon seeing your naked pictures.

Oh, you are a tease.

This could descend into smut news. I suggest we retreat to the backroom c@t, be sure to leave the lights on.

Well. I am astounded.

That accusation has never before been levelled at a man of my good character.

Littlejohn finally sacked (sorry- "parts company") by Sky News:

Interesting that Dawn Airey is going to launch a "new evening schedule" for Sky News- good to see Mr Pollard has as much influence as ever!

Well thank goodness for that. Very Happy

Interestingly I completed a survey a couple of weeks ago on news presenters for the Sky Viewers Panel. Littlejohn was one of the people they asked for comments on. Maybe I wasn't the only one to slate him.

Just means the channel is going to become more Fox-Newsy.

I suggest that by Airey coming in to revamp the evening schedule (which I presume will not launch until the new building does, whenever that is) means it is going to be more infotainment than rolling news.

Good points and bad points to that. Is going to be more Americanised, one assumes, so more glitzy and snazzy looking, and in truth I'd much rather have that than the boring news 30 minutes they have in the evenings at the moment. BUT I hope it doesn't dilute the rest of the coverage.

The problem with Fox is that it started of with a blurred distinction between news and talk. I hope that Sky manage to make that a little sharper. There's definately a place for talk/analysis shows, especially in the evening... but as long as it doesn't impact on the rest of the real rolling news.

Important question being: who's going to be presenting? Surely are going to have to hire a raft of new people to front a line up of new shows.

Anyone got a timescale for the new studios? I presume it's a long way off yet?

well, they have gutted out the old building - but I'm not sure whether the plans have been finalised yet.

I reckon it'll probably be a January launch for the new studios, although If things get moving quickly then we might see an october launch (as in 2001)
