This thread will be automatically opened just prior to 9am on Monday.

It's almost here. 9am GMT Monday morning will see the relaunch of BBC News 24. For clarity, please keep all posts relating to the subject to this thread.

The thread has been included in the listings to stop other people creating premature topics. To discuss BBC News related topics, please reply to the existing thread. After getting people's opinions, I've settled on deciding to close it on Monday. It's becoming quite unwieldy – it would have been more logical for the power failure to appear in a separate thread, for example. One huge thread which continues to bulge may be good for keeping everything in one place but no doubt deters people from posting a new BBC News related thread only to be told to post in the generic one. Also, it makes searching a nightmare.

Roll on Monday…

Cheers, Asa

OMG!!! It's absolutely awful! Bring back the cream and red. The old look was far better.

I think a round of applause is necessary for Asa - a smooth transition from the old thread to the new one!!
