Stephen did a good job from what I seen on what I think is his first time presenting the show? He’s very much one Sky’s main anchors these days who literally can present any programme. Sophy says she’ll be back this week.
Also unrelated, Kimberley Leonard has also been isolating after testing positive. Wishing them both well.

Was hoping to #testandrelease but I (finally) got my results and I am positive for #covid19.
Of course with widespread community transmission, you never know, but I assume it was on the plane or in the airport. None of my contacts at home are +ve - they were tested yesterday.

Adam Boulton is back in the UK after the inauguration. I wonder if he’ll be broadcasting from home again or if Colin Brazier is doing another of week of All Out Politics.

Stephen has presented Sophy Ridge on Sunday a number of times before.

Boulton says he's back on tomorrow - presumably from home since journalists / TV production personnel are no longer on the list of exemptions.

As of today, journalists are no longer exempt from UK Covid-19 border rules if travelling for work, meaning they must provide a negative test result before travelling to the UK and self-isolate on arrival

So, that basically means for television sport coverage - there's going to be a lot of off tubing going on for commentators when UK teams go abroad to play games.

Interesting to see that Adam Boulton's home studio (backdrop at least) looks better than the actual Westminster studio screen.

True words. Don't understand the problem that in the year 2020 real background screens look far worse than a green screen or just a well adjusted TV with all the new technology. In the 2005er the newswall and everything looked far superior and more authentic, you couldn't even distinguish the 2008 newswall background from the real studio part. That's the problem when the studio as in this case the Westminster one is too small and the distance between background screens and TV presenter is too tight which makes the lighting for the presenter shine on the screens and completely deteriorates its CONTRAST!

Higher pixel density video walls need diffusion filters to reduce moire. Soft lighting - needed for Kay’s show - and diffusion filters causes the problem.

Yes and no. You can spend more money these days and get very fine pitch LED wall panels now that are so fine that they don't moiré across most shot sizes you will need, and thus don't need diffusion (which washes out LED if you can't keep the light off it). These do come with a much higher price tag.
