Yes she did. Was suprised how much she'd grown at the time seeing as we'd been seeing her in the old sketches in the weeks leading up to it.
Suprised they never mentioned Louise Redknapp too, considering how often she presented with Cat on weeks when Ant & Dec were away. Especially when they were talking about Cat the Dog.
The thread on this on Digitalspy has someone ranting about "PC gone mad"... because someone in the documentry said something like "SM:TV was the last kid's show which wasn't safe", so that person's decided you can't do things that SM:TV did any more and gone on a massive rant about their made up scenario and "woke fascists"...
I'm not sure what it is that SM:TV apparently did that you can't do any more or "left wing woke snowflakes" have ever complained about, but there you go... TV's still full of the sort of risque jokes and innuendo SM:TV indulged in. They've just shown clips of all these things you supposedly "can't do any more" on a programme at 9:25 on Saturday morning for god's sake!

Has anyone attempted to shoehorn Brexit in with SMTV's mocking Eurovision entry?
"PC gawn maaaaaaaad" has always been a rant against either things people have decided they can't do any more, even though nobody's ever actually said they can't do it and getting offended on behalf of people who aren't actually offended, or because of things that genuinely are offensive and no sensible person would want to do these days anyway. It's like the self-righteous brothers on Harry Enfield and Chums getting angry about celebrities doing things they never did in the first place.

Going off topic here I admit.
There's an argument for both sides but i would come down more on your side. However times always move on. SMTV like anything was of its time. Captain Justice for instance. No harm meant, but might raise eyebrows today!
On the doc itself it was mentioned that they were surprised at “Cat Chat” which was a spoof of sex chat lines, asking if Cat would let her kids watch such material now.
Then again, it's the sort of thing where kids wouldn't get what it was spoofing anyway.
A bit like the aformentioned Captain Justice sketch to be honest- watch them back and you can see the guests and hear the crew in hysterics, but the kids in the studio have no idea what's so funny. It's not like they're swearing or making explicit sex references in front of kids.

The irony around "won't someone please think of the children!" is that the kids will be talking about and doing far worse themselves. Parents complaining about a TV show doing comedy should probably concentrate more on matters closer to home..

Much of my point is these parents aren't even complaining about it. The "PC gawn maaaaaad" rants seem to come from people who have decided other people have been offended by it even though they haven't, then rant about said non-existent offence.

As I peer up from my Christmas gift of a James O'Brien book, I have to agree with you.
Has anyone seen any ratings for either showing yet?
