IRN News at 4pm announced that Bake Off on C4 is pushed back to 20:15 hrs tonight. Must having been worrying a lot of folk Rolling Eyes

I saw a post somewhere on Facebook (might have been on the Bake Off page) saying that if Boris' announcement caused them to miss the Bake Off, he would be (politically) finished. I can only presume this was in jest, at least I hope it was in jest.

But anyway its moot now since the schedule has changed, but anyway: Boris' announcement to the nation, or the Great British Bake Off. Which is better? There's only one way to find out... *ahem*

Channel 4 was obviously going to take the announcement, but you wouldn't expect some numpty on Facebook to know this

Could I ask where the best source for updated listings would be? I’ve tried the following but can’t find the ITV special anywhere.

ITV.com
Radiotimes
Tvguide
Digiguide
TVPlayer

Thanks

I use the Sky+ app on iOS and Android as it reflects all the latest changes to the Sky EPG. You don’t need Sky to use it.

You can also use the sky go app, it’s good for its EPG being up to date you don’t need to have sky to look at it but you do to watch it and you need to have a sky Q box to see bbc one and two.

Radio Times at least now has the updated listings for ITV - but not BBC One or Channel 4.

Politics Live will be on BBC One at 12.15.

I do wish they wouldn't swap programmes from one channel to another. The series link on a Sky STB just won't recognise the change and the next schedule recording is simply moved to the next day. It also takes HOURS for the programme to appear on iPlayer.

It *should* follow, provided the EPG team do it right.

There will be a statement by the First Minister & Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland on BBC One NI following the PM's statement.

Is this live? It looks it but not sure for certain.

Looks like Channel 5 have opted not to show the address which is unusual for a PSB not to so.

I think it is pre recorded.

BBC One joining the NC feed slightly too soon for both the announcement itself (so we got a flash-frame of Huw) and the news special (so we got the end of Huw’s final NC-only sentence). Would there be a technical reason for this (feeds out of sync or somesuch) or is somebody being a bit too trigger happy in pres tonight?

It happened with the unlocking one back in May, BBC One got a second of Tim Wilcox on the catwalk.

Probably a bit of a complex opt though as you have news channel continuity as well as NI, Scotland and Wales.
