Vicki being flanked by voices on both sides now!

Do we think the BBC Weekend News scheduled for 17.40 will have been canned and this continuing coverage just replace it?

It sounds like it's Vicki's mic. Even when Jon isn't speaking, Vicki still sounds quiet and you can hear ambient sound from the weather.

Nope, it's been pushed back 30 mins.

I get the logic behind having a separate bulletin but the execution just looked weird on screen with Mishal saying your watching BBC News followed by a trailer with no close and then a continuity announcement back into the news.

On World too, time check included. Not a criticism by any means, certainly not when the poor people the world only have access to CNN.

Kimberley Leonard is someone else to add to the list of people on the news who are really shining in the current circumstances. Fantastic today, multiple lines coming in but all explained clearly (and looking like not off autocue).
