Look East Cambridge (West) have a new desk which mirrors the national desk in E with a black top and red front. Surprised they didn't go for a coffee table setup ala Norwich. Still no sign of a studio revamp on the cards, especially for Norwich which really needs it.

Not really convinced it's a new desk because of the shape and the lighting around the base (almost as if the old one has been tarted up). Either that or they ordered a tight oval shaped desk which looks a bit meh!

A rare #Behindthescenes of Anglia studio

Sad When you think of the programmes that were made in that studio before the news refit. I remember walking into there as a small child and seeing it as a cavern of a space.

Was Anglia a region that got its studio split in two, or did they have two studios all along?

It used to be a pan-regional bulletin until 1990, when it was split into two distinct bulletins I think with a studio each. Now it's one pre-rec, one live from the same studio.
