BBC news, it concerned BBC News
BBC One, it happened on BBC One.

It was still hosted by Huw, so no concern to this thread.

Well, Huw appeared and was, eventually, presenting it! I've found the other thread now thanks.

Looks like Ben Bland and Chris Rogers both did a couple of hours of the NewsChannel before/after their 6+ hour world shifts earlier, while Shaun Ley only did dateline.
Seems an interesting way to schedule especially as Gavin Esler used to do the morning shift and dateline.

Blimey who is directing VD today? It's very, very shoddy and utterly unrehearsed.

Of course, today's show was an outside broadcast from near Grenfell Tower, much of it devoted to the residents debating, so it's not as if it was a normal programme, not much that could be "rehearsed".

Katty Kay will be on Real Time w/ Bill Maher tonight on HBO and tomorrow on Sky Atlantic. After every episode (11PM ET 4AM UK) they have Overtime streamed live on YouTube internationally.

I have to say that I am continually impressed by Lukwesa Burak on the News Channel. Great interview with a volunteer for Grendel Tower in the last hour or so. Many presenters would have patronised to a certain extent. She got the best out of the upbeat volunteer.
