Horrific isn't it?! The background is awful quality and looks like we're going to have those two standing side by side in front of the screen for a week!

A television company with nearly 60 years history and this is the best they can manage?! Surely it would of been better to decamp in the newsroom or even use the UTV Life set!

And people wonder why we want to see the back of UTV and have real professionals come in... Not the type who have just 2 GCSE's to their name that UTV seem to be run by.

You're forgetting, UTV is now under the control of ITV. Anything on screen now is because of decisions they have made.

I never said "high level management" from London were dictating what was to be done, I said that UTV is now ITV, so as everybody that works there is now an ITV employee, I don't think it can be blamed on the previous management of UTV.

But hey, who knows, perhaps meetings were had with senior execs in London and the transition period may have been discussed.
