Clare now getting to show her strengths as a sports broadcaster rather than wandering around Olympic Park rather aimlessly.

Clare introducing Mark to introduce a piece by Clare - though sound had different ideas.

Mark at Dan's desk on the Cocacabana rather than in Olympic park.

She's doing the job of two people tonight, the Daily Mail will be pleased. Anchoring the event and anchoring the whole programme at the same time.

The BBC must be so glad Chris Hoy has retired. Finally they've got a decent pundit for the track programme - it's a role they've really struggled to fill over the last few years as the profile of the sport has increased.

Chris Boardman's done a perfectly adequate job in the past.

BBC1 were obviously filling time with long trailers and menus there waiting for Team GB's cycling to finish.

The constant channel changes are annoying the general public, I've heard normal non-pres fans talking about them.

With the massive ratings the Olympics are getting, I think they will be regretting slapping EastEnders slap bang in the middle of it most nights.

I agree!

My parents have moaned about them not knowing which BBC Olympic channel each sport is being shown on, and having to flick between channels to find the sport. The guide is most of the time completely incorrect on Virgin Media, something like Rugby Sevens is listed but actually its Tennis & Andy Murray.

They also are annoyed about how they're missing lots of the different sports and medal ceremonies because of the channel changes.

I have also seen a few complaints about constant channel changing. I think the BBC really should rethink this for next week.

Put EastEnders on BBC2, simple as.

Presumably to do with the fact they (pathetically) don't have a dynamic EPG.

I really wish they'd change how they rank the medal table. Even though we've done better than some teams above us, we rank lower because we haven't got as many golds. We have over twice as many medals as Hungary, even though they're currently 2 places above us, and more medals than Australia and South Korea (twice as many silvers as Oz, and 3 times as many as South Korea, and 2 more bronzes than SK) who are 4th and 5th. A 3-2-1 points system really is the best way to go.

BBC One cutting away from the hockey to go to the swimming- there was less than 3 minutes left, couldn't they have just held on till the end?

"Press the red button"- by the time you've pressed it, loaded the app and found the right stream, the match will be nearly finished...
