Liked seeing Mark on Good Morning Britain today. I have a feeling that Ben is likely to leave before long. He does all sorts of television work and he's already gone down to two days a week so it only seems a matter of time, especially now as ITV are testing out new male presenters and the presenters' two year contracts are coming to an end. I would like to see Mark take over the Thursday and Friday shows if Ben does leave, as I feel he adds grivatas and proper journalistic merit to the programme. Jeremy was good but nowhere near as slick for me. Perhaps he'll become the 'fill-in male presenter', as John Stapleton used to be.

Am I right in thinking that it was Ben's decision to cut down on the number of shows he presented due to Tipping Point being renewed by ITV? In that case, I don't blame GMB for going for Piers. All in all, he has brought a number of exclusives to the show, not least Donald Trump. He and Susanna's partnership has made for quite a few tabloid headlines, which I'm not sure works for the credibility of the show, but I suppose its better than making no headlines at all.
I really, really liked Mark this morning. As somebody else commented, he does have that Bill Turnbull vibe about him (although Mark is slightly more energetic, IMO). Mark's personality always comes across well on ITV News - he always ad libs and has some banter with his co-presenter, and that kind of wit is needed in a breakfast programme. I think, if Piers quits/is pushed, Mark would be a great replacement. He has a good reputation and, like Susanna, is a proper journalist.
Although Mark probably wouldn't want to step down from the Evening News, it would still be nice to see him every now and again on GMB. People on social media particularly seem to be giving good reviews, which makes a change as both Piers and Jeremy Kyle were trashed!

There wasn't any need for Charlotte, this morning Mark and Ranvir should have just read news together.
