Some tweaks to the F1 world feed graphics.

They have moved the Pit lane graphic to the lower positions line, so they can show multiple pit stop times while still keeping the main graphic area clear.

The tyre choice graphic has been tweaked but I am not sure what the difference between a black S in a yellow circle and a yellow S in a black circle, as they both denote Soft tyres (red for super-soft, and white for Medium)

During qualifying a white-on-red 90 second countdown was shown next to the driver facing elimination, but I guess we won't be seeing that again.

The tyre colours were explained in a graphic before the start.
One colour is for a 'new' set of tyres, the other that the car is using a previously used set, from Fri/Sat practice.
All useful information, but does rely on the commentary team to keep explaining to viewers what it means.

Like the new pit stop graphic though.

Just wish FOM would use the dynamic left hand side 'tower' race position graphic, instead of a bottom screen wide strap, like Dorna use for Moto GP.

Thanks, I must have either missed that graphic on C4 or it was only shown on Sky. I didn't hear Ben or DC explain it at all.

It was probably on the World Feed build up between the Official F1 sting and warm up lap - which wasnt shown on C4

I'm surprised harshy didn't notice this on the satellite the other night Smile

It's using H265 HEVC - side-by-side with the fibre feed, it was hard to say which was which. Other than that the satellite feed was later, of course.

Interesting to point out that it clashes with the CL on BT Sport so Gary will have to miss one or the other.

Hadn't thought about that - Bayern Munich v Barcelona would be his BT match.

No mention about UEFA agreement this time, although they've avoided clashing with the Manchester City v Paris St-Germain QF tie which is the previous night.

You laugh, but I've heard the real reason BT Sport have signed Suzi Perry up is to host their Super Mario Kart coverage.
