Excellent extended coverage this morning - Susannah, Piers and Charlotte proved their worth as journalists delivering hard-hitting news. GMB once again proves it can cover major news stories as they happen.
The coverage was well-presented but - as I mentioned over in the Newsroom - not very accurate. They were reporting that four Brussels metro stations were 'under attack' right up until the end of the programme, at least on the graphics. I didn't see anyone else making this mistake.

Yes and it was evident they were relying on Twitter and the comments section of the Daily Mail website for 'eyewitness' accounts and images without verifying them.
To those who are interested to see Good Morning Britain's extended coverage of today's attacks, here's the 8:30am to 10:30am section of the programme. http://www.itv.com/hub/lorraine/1a9360a1613

GMB really is at its best when handling breaking news. Piers and Susanna are very competent and work well together. GMB also reported the news 15 minutes before BBC Breakfast.
As she proved in Paris, Susanna is very good at handling OBs. Will probably be Charlotte and Piers in the studio tomorrow.
I don't think that they should have gone straight into This Morning, that was a mistake.
