I suppose as it was ITV's head office, it was just ITV's board room, not ITV1's board room, so discussion for ITV2 programming would have occured there too.

Did they really allow audience members to leave the audience to make phone calls?

That looks very like a 2010s Pot Noodle that guy in the gallery is eating!
No reason for that kind of blooper. Back in Time at the Corner Shop managed to get retro packaging. Why couldn't Quiz?

Because it really doesn't matter and hardly anyone is going to notice, much less care. For BITATCS, it's an intrinsic part of the show. For Quiz, not so much. It may have been the first historical Pot Noodle pot they had to hand, and they weren't going to spend any more money just because it wasn't quite the right year.

I find it mildly interesting to point out, but I wouldn't berate the production team for it.

Actually its just occurred to me: The ITV logo on the back wall in the boardroom when they're having the debate/argument over whether to cancel the cheque or not and they flip over to see coverage of 9/11: By that time they were ITV1 and had been for the best part of a month by the time of 9/11.

Mind you that being said if it was only seen by the people behind the scenes at ITV it's not a complete anachronism..

They were the headquarters for ITV as a whole anyway, not just ITV1.

Because it’s not integral to the story telling on Quiz, it would be quite important to a show based on an old corner shop.

It didn't even look like a historical pot noodle, even from 10 years ago, it looked like a modern one!

Where was the "<COUGH>...No!" when Charles was going to select the wrong answer? They didn't show that, did they? Didn't Tecwen Whittock blow his nose also during the recording?

Based on which announcer is on shift tonight, it wouldn’t surprise me

The company was still called ITV

I wonder did anyone at the time notice the glitter all over the floor that appeared half way through an episode, or was the fact they’d cut out a winner already in the press by that point? Or did 9/11 just take everyone’s minds elsewhere and nobody noticed?

I liked the self deprecating joke about ‘Celebrity Crime Squad’ sounding like ‘a show we’d make’

A few things were moved around, the bit where Tecwen whispered to another contestant about what the answer was was on an earlier question too, not the million pound one. All changed for dramatic licence of course.

Oh lord. Charles Ingram appears to have been live tweeting throughout the programme.

Or it could be satire. I really can’t tell.

There was an angry post about it on the old TV Ark forum at the time, from someone unhappy they'd cut the million pound win out of the show.
