Oh lord. Charles Ingram appears to have been live tweeting throughout the programme.

Is he still denying he cheated? He certainly still was when they actually broadcast his show back in 2003.

It can be interesting to find the obvious anachronisms (like we've already seen, using the wrong ITV logo for the time period), but you'll be surprised the small details that get missed. The Pot Noodle above is frankly stretching it... Smile

I’m surprised they went ahead with it. They could have used 9/11 as an excuse to drop it and taken an extra week to re-edit so it looked seamless.

It didn't even look like a historical pot noodle, even from 10 years ago, it looked like a modern one!

Of all the things to quibble over, the age of the packaging of a Pot Noodle is the last thing I was expecting to read about on here

He’s not said anything about his guilt/innocence in this whole situation. He’s mostly been praising the actors and the attention to detail.

He’s also a staunch Remainer, for what that’s worth...

Oh, I do. I was more expecting to read about how the police car had LED lights that were too new, not… a Pot Noodle

Based on which announcer is on shift tonight, it wouldn’t surprise me

Actually its just occurred to me: The ITV logo on the back wall in the boardroom when they're having the debate/argument over whether to cancel the cheque or not and they flip over to see coverage of 9/11: By that time they were ITV1 and had been for the best part of a month by the time of 9/11.

Mind you that being said if it was only seen by the people behind the scenes at ITV it's not a complete anachronism..

The company was still called ITV

I wonder did anyone at the time notice the glitter all over the floor that appeared half way through an episode, or was the fact they’d cut out a winner already in the press by that point?

I noticed it!!!

Thank you, I knew something didn't look right with the police cars but I couldn't think what it was. I did note it was framed subtly to cut off the number plates so... Smile

He's planning a new appeal with his lawyers.

Quiz shows what a fantastic writer James Graham is. I wasn't keen on Brexit: The Uncivil War but his plays like This House and Ink were top notch.
