Having a watch on iPlayer,
Single Camera on a tower on halfway line. Simple BBC Styled Scoreboard with no clock. No replays either. Very very basic to say the least.

A lot of pre-recorded season friendlies have been covered by football clubs themselves online with little more than that.

Doesn't appear like it (I could be wrong but I can't see anything "new").

More info on the coverage of the US PGA Championships next week.

https://www.pga.com/events/pgachampionship/full-live-2017-pga-championship-united-kingdom-broadcast-schedule

• Live four-day coverage on Give Me Sport’s Facebook page and website which are accessed regularly by 750,000 golf fans in the UK.

• Live coverage of marquee groups on Twitter on all 4 days in the UK, Ireland and Japan as well as world feed access on Twitter in Latin America and the Caribbean. These locations will also feature regularly updated highlight clips on Twitter. Fans in these territories can access the broadcast on Twitter via @PGAChampionship on their mobile devices straight from Twitter's app, on desktop and on connected devices. ....

Seems the PGA are keen on a multi platform approach and that the UK television deal was always going to be secondary to the social media/online coverage.

Charity Shield MOTD is always a recorded OB piggybacked onto the BTSport video. It's an oddity in the scheme of things and stands out as such. A one-off so it really was unlikely.

Noticed that the BT Sport live dog was plain white and not the usual full colour.

It's part of the new season refresh. There's one or two other minor changes too - see the BT Sport thread.

A first, can't recall a live, unrepeated transmission on 4seven before. Can anyone?

Paralympic opening and closing ceremonies have been simulcast with BSL on there in the past.

Most of it being on the red button will probably suit their strategy then.

Helen Chamberlain leaves Soccer AM.

Lloyd Griffith, former Hull and Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard and existing host John “Fenners” Fendley are the new line-up.

Very surprised that Helen has left, she has been there for over 20 years. Certainly the last rebrand for Soccer AM pretty much killed a lot of the old format in one go, doesn't feel like its former self. That and it's less than two hours long now. Interesting to see how this refresh will change things, I thought Sky would have axed it years ago but it must be doing alright for them.

I must admit I miss Fletch and Sav on BT on a Saturday morning, that really gave Soccer AM a good run for its money.

Any news if Fantasy Football on Friday nights is returning? That was a good show, but the fact I can't see it listed on the Guide and Rachel Riley leaving Sky can't be good.
