Yep, not too disimilar to the previous look but every element of pres has been updated aside from the non-live bugs.
New menus and breakbumpers with the darker colour scheme (still based on the BT globe colours), monochrome logos, lots of typefaces on the breakbumpers replaced with just the one in various weights and with different audio, no more cursors, new promo endboards, slightly different warning bumpers, living holds and breakdown slide. Think that just about covers it!

.... however the dreaded L Bar on BTS3 still has elements of the 'old style' including coloured logos on the future event elements.

Presumably BT are also cracking down on piracy/showing BT Sport in pubs without the correct subscription.

What is the purpose of the white square under the DOG when streaming BT Sport?

It's not appeared on domestic services, my viewing card number has flashed up a couple of times, like it has done on nearly all BT games previously. I am assuming the square must also be common too.

Could be more subtle though.

The square appears on all BT streamed content consumed via App or Web browser. When watching via BTTV we get the usual dog and nothing else. I'm presuming that the presence of a viewing card flash is on Satellite, and that it's reciprocal with Sky content on the BTTV box which shows part of the box decrypt code that's unique, every 15 mins or so, on 'premium' content when being shown by Sky.

Can't say I've ever seen my viewing card or any other number on BT Sport via Sky. The square used to be slightly higher covering the word "live" but they've nudged it down recently.
Sky Sports similarly has a square in the bottom right corner when watching via Sky Go or Now TV, but it's not opaque like BT's.
