Special presentation this evening for International Women's Day - including an all-female presentation team on the Premier League match (though still a male commentator).
They've also been running this film showcasing a few of the women who work in front and behind of the cameras (it got a couple of plays on Saturday too)
sports broadcasting - particularly the technical side - is very much a male-dominated industry. There's a lot of work to do to even up the balance, but hopefully showcasing some of the roles that exist and the fact that anyone can do them will do a little to pique some interest.

"In the last few years, the industry has opened up massively to women, in a way that it hasn't before."

People might slag BT Sport for this but I say well done only shame is they didn't use Vicki Sparks or Robyn Cowan but instead used Darren Fletcher, people might see it as tokenism for International Women's Day but I applaud BT for doing this and in my opinion further than Sky would ever go.
For those that didn't see Lindsay Hipgrave presented with Eni Aluko & Faye White with commentary by Darren Fletcher & Lucy Ward. Lucy Ward for me is one of the best co-commentators on TV and is better than some of those BT Sport use usually.
