BT Sport - Launch of BT Sport Ultimate

I assume it was because they lost the rights to the 12.30 Prem game, so that removed the link into the back to back live Aviva Rugby Union game, so that 'come together as one' ie top class English football and Rugby together for 5 hours, was lost.

KAZsport's host broadcaster coverage of Astana v Celtic isn't exactly the greatest technical quality this afternoon...

I know Celtic are 5-0 up but this game is worth watching just for the host broadcaster's match director. Seems determined to miss a goal.

Also, a late addition to the schedule for tomorrow morning: the FFA Cup, starting with Sydney Utd v Heidelberg Utd.

BT Sport 1 and ESPN on Sky currently have a software generated hollow square in the corner (TL on 1, TR on ESPN), not seen that before.

It's on all BT Sport channels.
Wonder when they are putting out extra red button streams, that hollow box becomes a fully filled red one?

BT have a relatively rare bit of Scottish football in 4K this weekend - both of the League Cup semi-finals.

I think this ticker might be left over from the pre-BT Sport days of ESPN UK.

Much prefer that that what usually appears (if anything does).
