Also, Soccer Special appeared to be in a different studio, presumably for social distancing purposes?

Have you got a screenshot? They used Studio 7 (the normal studio) with just three people (Jeff + two guests) and two guests sat upstairs in the newsroom on Saturday.

To me it looked like the normal studio, but the biggest change was that they switched to a different background. For some reason it was dark blue with outlines of crests of the clubs that were playing yesterday.

Ah, yeah. They can switch up the video wall images quite easily.

Presumably that's because the backdrop is usually the crowd background from the match the pundits are covering, but yesterday a) there weren't any crowds and b) three of the matches weren't on Sky so they weren't able to do that.

Bit of a balls-up on BT before the Wolves match, the entire build-up was in absolute silence - the adverts and sponsor bumpers were all playing normally. There wasn't any sound until they went over the commentators, and for the first twenty minutes there was no crowd noise either (when BT are offering that as the default). Sounds like they were broadcasting the no effects audio setting on the main channel by accident.

Interesting to see Martin Tyler has now gone from London to the North West and back three times in eight days, which might seem a bit excessive. Sky are covering a lot of games, mind.

It seems that the three currently scheduled AZPV PL matches are not going to be offered in UHD this time around. The UHD flags being missing on the tiles for these matches.

A PL update, the final three matchdays of 30 games are split

Sky 21
BT 7
BBC 1
AZPV 1

Although these have yet to be confirmed, I am expecting Sky to retain the final MD in full, the penultimate matchday likely to split Sky 5/BT 4/ BBC 1 and the third last midweek set to go Sky 6, BT 3, AZPV 1 (with some slot sharing).

Is there an audio sync delay for Burnley vs Watford on Pick HD?

Pick HD audio issue is now fixed.

Sky will show a special programme at 10pm if Manchester City don't win at Chelsea tonight handing Liverpool the Premier League title. The crucial match itself being on BT Sport.

Have to laugh at reporters being sent to Anfield to inform fans not to go to Anfield.

Matchdays 36/37/38 are all 10x simultaneous 3pm kickoffs.

I would love to see how Sky would air them all if they did take the final matchday. One each on SSMain Event, SSPL, SSFootball, SSAction and SSMix, Pick, Sky One... and I've run out of options and only covered 8 games ignoring crowd noise options!

I think it's far more likely that the final matchday would be shared. Perhaps Sky 5 / BT 3 / BBC 1 / AZPV 1.

Well you counted 8 there and can add SSArena to the list, then the 10th can go on red button.
