Watching the end of the Tour de Yorkshire coverage shows how little I go down onto the seafront in Scarborough - the branch of Pizza Express was a bit of a surprise.

I guess the 'liveness' of the event is what gives this the edge over Google Street View.

So this is a surprise, albeit welcome.

Good decision by the BBC saying this match tomorrow could either decide the title or could keep the title race going for another week

Not seen it mentioned but for the first time in a long time there is Live Football on Channel 5 tomorrow a legends/celebrity match between England and Germany, will be interesting to see if it's the FLT team hosting it.

it is kelly cates presenting, and Matt Lorenzo(great to see him back) and Ned Boulting(fresh off tour de Yorkshire commentary for ITV4) are the reporters

Some Snooker News, BBC have agreed a deal with World Snooker to broadcast the Triple Crown (UK Championships, The Masters & World Championship) until 2019. The Daily Telegraph reported this at Christmas but has only been announced by BBC Sport & World Snooker which I can only assume both parties wanted to wait until the World Championship to release the news. They have also announced the new 10 year deal with Eurosport this week (alongside BBC & ITV in the UK) and the Crucible would continue to host the World Championship until 2027.

See More on the BBC deal at:

Dave Farrar & Tony Dorigo commentated on the match for Channel 5. I only seen the 2nd half but the match was a bit weird with a team of former German Internationals against basically a team of celebrities and comedians with David James & Rio Ferdinand thrown in for a while but enjoyable none the less

From what I saw they were using the same graphics as the Football League coverage.

I wonder how Premier League TV are covering Leicesters successful premier league campaign, I can imagine very well as its a dedicated 24/7 content channel and probably even better than Sky or BT Sport.

Are they better resourced though, I doubt it. As big of an achievement it is, I'm not sure this warrants this warrants 24 hour coverage.

I think they are well resourced they show all 380 or whatever it is games live and they have so many analysis shows its unreal, unfortunately the only way to watch it in UK is a dodgy iptv connection to Star Sports Sad
