This is what I would do with the BBC score dog if they insist on using a FIFA style.

It's similar to the one deployed on ESPN in the states.

It's definitely on the feed the BBC is using, with the BBC just adding the logo. So that wouldn't be possible, and if it were they'd just use their own style graphic if permitted. Nice mock though.

The logo appears from the side of the scorebar just after it appears on the screen and dead on the whistle it disappears before the scorebar.

If I was to have a guess I'd say RTE are doing exactly the same thing? They usually do.

They seem to do a better job than what they do on the rugby, the thing is it's usually the BBC's own world feed that they're adding it to on the rugby. Talking of which the Argentina, England game this weekend had a yellow 'BBC' DOG to make up for using the host broadcasters graphics, this time it was on the right of screen and no effort made to make it appear a part of the scorebar. This didn't happen last week, so it must be a concerted effort to brand more of BBC Sport's content which they don't provide their own graphics for.

Not quite. RTÉ's scorebar is the same basic design as the BBC's, but is positioned further to the left on the screen (so that it is positioned where the BBC Sport logo is or was). There's also a further difference - on the RTÉ score bar, when the time reaches 45:00 and 90:00, the clock goes red and continues ticking, whereas on the BBC it is stopping and an extra timer added for the time added on (eg. "45:00 +0:01" on BBC instead of "45:01" on RTÉ). There's no RTÉ logo on the scorebar this time, though the normal RTÉ Two DOG is in the top right hand corner of the screen where it usually is.

..... limitations of coverage revealed with a spectator either injured or collapsed in the stands play suspended, no additional coverage other than Centre available. Inverdale doing interview fillers in the interim.

Strange seeing the switch between ATP and WTA graphics. The WTA ones are nice enough, but not so sure about the ATPs. I suspect though next week for Wimbledon we'll be back to a slightly too big scorecard at the top of the screen, still 4:3 safe!

Not only the Graphics, some court furniture and the net is replaced as well, between matches. Must be a headache for the organisers to ensure correct promoters items are on display too.

Presumably there are set windows of play for each tournament on the main court at least. BBC's coverage was mainly women through to about 4pm when they showed Tomic v Ward.

Any reason that coverage on the red button after the BBC2 airing doesn't seem to have aired this week.

Eastbourne is on Red Button today after BBC TWO slot ended.

On the video you can see in the below article, Channel 4 Racing is credited as '3on4 Productions'. Rolling Eyes

Those who missed the first two minutes of BBC3's coverage of Spain vs Tahiti in the Confederations Cup might like to check out the Ceefax-inspired opening sequence on iPlayer. And then, if they're pedantic arses, spot the mistake.

Peculiarity with the BBC's Eastbourne coverage today... seemingly playing out on a 75 minute delayed basis.

Nothing on the red button again either tonight - they seem to have only shown one mens game all week, which featured a Brit, so is that what they were limited too as far as the ATP rights go, presumably along with the final tomorrow.
