It seems there's 4 hours to go for Bid.tv to launch.

The countdown timer has finished but no website up.

Hoax I think??!!

Twitter account now says:

I make that at least the third delay.

It's either their controller doesn't know how to launch a website or that they just trying to hoax us.

Well a whois on the bid.tv domain name record indicates the 'registrant orginisation' is Bid Shopping Limited with a London address, and the 'registrant email' is an @sit-up.tv address. I'd be inclined to say it's not a hoax and is genuine, or if it is someone's gone to a fair bit of effort.

It's not a hoax, all the brand assets were transferred late 2014/early 2015 by the administrators of Sit-up to this new owner.

Still, at least you're only down £1.53+"network extras" for the phonecall.

I'd like to know what these "network extras" suddenly are.

This term seems to be on every competition nowadays.
