This is turning into quite an interesting final month for TV Forum.

All we need now is Oneness cancelled, the full TVS archives found and a new BBC News programme discussing that week’s presenter rota.

UKTV? Has Adam let the cat out of the bag with the name of News UK's TV channel?
In which case BBC Studios Worldwide/Discovery Networks will have something to say about that.

Unless, he is going to present a series for Gold.

The right decision. His comments yesterday were bang out of order.

The Mail Online Headline is something else:

“Cancel Culture Claims Piers in a week where he brought GMB’s highest ratings........”, or words to that effect.

Judging by the fact that ITN already had a crew outside TVC to report live would suggest this News was probably rumoured within the industry earlier this evening. Perhaps many of his peers (no pun intended) couldn’t see him surviving this.

ITV will have to decide whether they want another opinionated co-presenter on Mon-Weds or it heads back to GMTV style obscurity.

Now most people on TVF know that I don't rate most opinion shows, but the Piers/Susanna one worked so well until the last few days and weeks of Meghan bashing and subliminal misogyny against his female co-presenters that I'd watch the 6.30 monologue on ITV Hub.

But I think for the show to continue being a competitor against Breakfast, they really do need another right-wing commentator to balance out the other presenters, yet without the negative elements that Piers brought into the show over recent weeks.

I second this, and I also want to say this, no matter who will replace Piers Morgan, he is going to have big shoes to fill, love him or hate him, Piers Morgan's style and fiery behaviour, has made GMB like his own show. And it's going to be a real challenge to find a worthy replacement, just like UTV Lifer has said, this will probably be GMB's sink or swim moment.

Is Piers a 'right-wing' commentator? I'm not sure you can pigeon hole his politics like that. It's certainly not a view of the world you can hold as editor of The Mirror.

Piers was it's main selling point and before he came along it was ticking along not really making much fuss, but it was and still is different - more brash and bright, fast paced and tabloid than its rival. It will be able to continue with some of the audience that it's built over the last few years, it doesn't need another Piers, it just needs to be good.

The guy was only on Fox News yesterday morning about "woke" people and the like. He's right-wing.
