I Really like it. its quirky, fresh and fun. I doubt all of the Idents will be like that one. The dog really cheered me up!

I believe the correct term is "sad luddite freak"

Watching the new ident is making me realise how much I'm going to miss the current set of idents.

Don't get me wrong I think 6 years with the same images and music is a bit overkill so a change is needed, but if that's anything to go by, I can see this going the way of the 2006 re-brand and lasting 11 months and flopping. And I still really hate the logo, though I can hardly see the thing on that.

Anyway I'll sum it up by posting my favourite of the current set of idents, ironically it's one they don't use anymore but it's still sad to see them go, and that logo especially.

Just seen an ident for the new itv1 its called pug or something it's on their twitter page its great! very modern too.

Can't see the ident set lasting more than a year, some exec in brand awareness will take offense to the pseudo-invisibility of the logo sooner or later.

Well as a positive it's quite quirky, quite fun, change of soundtrack will be nice.

But it's logo on footage again, and I think the logo transition could have been done better.

itv SPORT logo looks awful... With the curly wurly logo I had the fear for sport / potentially news it would look hellish. Well on Sport it does.

If that's ITVplc's idea of 'fun' for the nation then no wonder their programmes don't appeal to me.

They've just stepped back 7 years, and called it re-fresh. What a wasted opportunity.

Thats the only ident of the current set I liked, but got axed for elf and safety. *sigh*

I really like it too! I do think a symbol should be added though.
