ITV's current presentation

I read it as one new set per month, so whether they'll now show them for the whole month or continue to air them just for a week and then air reruns the remainder of the time remains to be seen. Fair play though to ITV for sticking with it.

The music‘s been altered

Yes, previously mentioned.

Since the new ones have new music, the old ones won't match.

With the new lockdown, the break bumpers state "Stay at Home" "Stay in Touch" in the Britain Get Talking style. DOG is also like that.

I was hoping to capture the second set of 'The Voice' break bumpers tonight - having screwed up the file during editing last week. However, it was odd to see that ITV were using 2019's style of bumper and the 'More than TV' bumpers for the whole show, with the current set returning for the first bumper immediately after it ended.

You know, you have to give credit to ITV for its willingness to get experimental with its core channel idents, after years of playing it as safe and middle of the road as the majority of its content.

I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking at there, or even whether it can be described as a "great ident", but it certainly sparks curiousity and interest - and the logo is clear and involved.

A criticism would be the refusal to use a varied selection of the past Creates idents throughout the day. There were some visually stunning efforts throughout 2019 - this one springs to mind in particular:

A shame they are now just archived and forgotten about, when they could add so much variety to the junctions.

Yes, I already mentioned that.

Seems a quick turnaround between the closing date (26th Feb) and the idents debuting in March, though I guess they'll update them throughout the month. The first set were pretty good though - simple but effective, and it was a shame really they didn't resurrect the concept for Christmas.
