Just to note that ITV are still using the same Creates idents for a second week on the trot. Apart from a couple of days of crossover at Christmas, I can't recall this happening before.

I wouldn't be surprised if the identity change on 1st October, the beginning of Black History month.
I'm picturing something akin to the Carlton 1993 idents and/or the ITV1 2002 idents, with staged shots of notable black British individuals (not necessarily just stars of the ITV network itself, but also e.g. politicians, sports stars etc) in a moodily-lit studio environment. Either with an ITV logo slapped on in post-production, or a physical ITV logo prop in the room with them.

Hadn’t ever seen that before.
It was several of the different coloured break bumpers played one after the other.
There was obviously an error in playing or producing the usual daytime menu slide.
