After doing a forum search: correct, and seemingly in August 2017! (first thread is https://www.tvforum.co.uk/tvhome/bbc-sport-new-graphics-reith-font-42864)
Not surprised to see that the general consensus has always been "this is beautiful".
BBC Sport Launched it I believe

Feels like about 7 years ago. I think BBC News launched it last March but BBC Sport had used it since at least mid-2018 and I'm sure it had turned up elsewhere beforehand.
Question: can someone remind me when we first saw Reith's typeface? I seem to recall it being around March last year

IIRC it’s Mid-2017?

The "one" may be in the wrong font weight, but the "Mondays 8:00pm" is Reith and BBC ONE usually use their own custom font for that. Is this the first time we have seen it being used on a programme trailer on BBC ONE for one of its own programmes?
No, I think I’ve posted the same question before about another show (Killing Eve maybe?)

I think the only people who consider themselves particularly ‘trolled’ by the implementation of Reith are members of the TV Forum. This was always planned to be a steady rollout, but Covid has made it much slower, as fewer people are working and collaboration within the BBC has slowed to quite an extent.
Sorry for the slow response - by 'us', I was referring to members of TV Forum.
I’m increasingly convinced they’re now just trolling us with their haphazard, scattergun approach to the Reith rollout.

It seems to be ad-hoc as to which are using the new design. I noticed the papers (blog) had been updated last week.
