Continued implementation of BBC Reith

Other than places it's already implemented (July 2019)

So BBC Sport has been Reithed, BBC Four has been Reithed, BBC Two has been Reithed, BBC News on TV has at long last been Reithed... now what about BBC News Online, BBC One...

That is kind of odd that the BBC haven't implemented Reith onto their news site. Usually, you expect them to be prepared for this sort of thing but apparently not.

I don't expect we'll see Reith on BBC One until there's a rebrand (fingers crossed it's soon)!

Me too.
A new logo and complete overhaul of the channel's branding would be nice.

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!! Not another countdown Very Happy

Newsnight an obvious addition to the list. Don't think BBC Radio visual promos have been writhed and I guess CBBC and certainly CBeebies never will be.

I believe the reith overhaul of the website and app are in the pipeline.

Yeah, it's a very long pipe though isn't it?

Pretty sure all the BBC Radio promos use Reith - Radio 1 definitely does.

Haven’t CBBC made the crossover to Reith already?

Indeed, CBBC switched to Reith quite a while back.

Yeah, they were previously using Arial, right? That always looked unprofessional, considering it's a standard Windows font.

It's a lot of different pipes, where Reith support is one item in a long backlog, and let's be honest, not the most strategically important one. The News apps are undergoing a significant rewrite at the moment so Reith can accompany that, and the new Article (which has also been completely rebuilt alongside a new CMS) has started creeping onto News Online more and more in preparation for that transition (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cp03zwze47zo). Unfortunately there used to be a dedicated News front page team who were not able to do the Reith transition before being disbanded, so hard to say when that will happen...
