Would have been more forgivable if they did this in summer, such as to tie in with Christmas in July, but looks a bit poor now that we're well into the Autumn schedule on TV.

Is it timed due to people now starting Christmas shopping, etc.
Not me - I personally don't start to think about Christmas until after bonfire night.

Even Food Network started with Christmas themed programmes....

ITV2 screened The Polar Express on 27th September.

Hmm, any time now we'll see Bing Crosby telling us what he's dreaming of, Noddy Holder telling us what do with our stockings and what Wham did with their heart last Christmas...

Both True Movies and True Entertainment had shown Christmas Movies yesterday.

Thought it was a little weird to see that myself.

Yeah but those channels are weird anyway, they appear to be showing Little House On The Prairie (albeit at 4am) and The Waltons at two different stages in the run. Last time I checked neither of these were movies (Prairie had a couple of TV movies either side of the regular show), nor were they true. Or do we not take channel names literally anymore?

Not forgetting Cliff Richard singing along with Milestone and Wine!

Just catching up with Under the Dome, Monday 13th July 22:00 began with a Christmas Ident, Reindeer flying across the screen with a snow ball in the bottom right corner!!
