All European Coverage so far has UK broadcaster commentary usually boothed off screen. Some top matches are exceptions and are from the stadia concerned. BT Brazilian matches have ESPN supplied comms, as were MLS when BT had the rights. Aussie Football when in season uses the Aussie commentary.
Almost, but not quite correct. Brasiliero has had World Feed commentary in the past, but now tends to use off-tube commentators because the host comms are a bit lacklustre. The same is true for the Portuguese games.
I can't think of any European games which have had on-site commentary, save for UK-based Europa games, of course.
A-League games are broadcast complete with Fox Sports Australia (or Sky NZ for Wellington home games) studio presentation.
Anyhow, this is a pres forum. Why no mention of BT Sport's refreshed pres?
Just took it back up today after dropping it at the start of the summer. Not sure I like it. Vivid colours and a cursor motif. Changes seem to be limited to the channel presentation aspect - the actual sport graphics seem to be the same as before.
But the biggest (and seemingly the most controversial question) is why BT have decided to run BT Sport Europe in Sky Sports News style format except during live events.
Some Sky El Clasico matches and league deciders have been stadia based in the past, not for a while but has happened. I believe an early Bundesliga (poss a BVB v Bayern match in 13-14) for BT was similarly presented wholly from location.
Seems that the Europa League is set to get a new Visual Identity from this season, from the draw shown today, still predominantly orange but in different shades, circles too in focus. Can't find any videos online though. Looks like the totalitarian skyscraper trophy has been demolished too.
The logo has been updated at any rate - same basic design as previously, but a different font and a restyled trophy.
Edit:It seems the theme music has been ditched too - new intro is completely different to before. Looks like a completely new identity.
Meanwhile the Champions League has also got a new intro, not dissimilar from the previous one, and a revised arrangement of its theme music (as its the Champions League music, it's not that dissimilar either - there isn't a whole pile you can do with it!)

Incidentally, did anyone notice that throughout most of BT Sport's promotional material used Zadok the Priest rather than the Champions League theme even after they were allowed to use CL logos, trademarks etc?

Not unusual for a Champions League broadcaster, of course the Champions League theme is very heavily based on Zadok the Priest.
Gosh, the Europa League package really does feel like the poorer cousin when you see the two sequences side-by-side like that, doesn't it? By design, the EL will never complete with the CL in footballing terms, yet UEFA seem scared to give it an identity of its own.
